Northern Navajo Fair.
And now the moon and stars are aligned.
It’s going to be a musical milestone moment in time when award-winning country music
artist Rick Trevino will entertain Northern Navajo Fair country music fans with his catalogue of mesmerizing songs.
After performing in Lubbock and Midland, Texas, Trevino will travel to the Navajo
Nation to Shiprock, New Mexico and make his first-ever appearance at the 113th Northern Navajo Fair.

Entertainment and Concert Coordinator Lynn Bia, stated, “I love working and planning
events and activities for the community.”
Bia explained that it can be challenging for all the event coordinators because they are
volunteers who spend their own time, plan the events, and gas to seek sponsors for their events.
She added, “But we love this work that we apply for. I’m very competitive when it comes
to the fair. I have to beat last year’s agenda and events.”
After endless hours and days of working behind the scenes, Bia was able to add a perfect trifecta of master musicians from different genres.
The country music fun doesn’t end there.
To wrap up the 113th Northern Navajo Fair on a high note, there will be a grand finale
called the Legends Concert, which will be held on the fairgrounds on Sunday, October 4th beginning at 12 noon until 7 p.m.
Legends Concert Coordinator Hardy Phelps noted the Legends Concert/Dance are for
fairgoers who really love Navajo legendary musicians who first started singing such popular songs such as “Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way,” originally sung by Waylon Jennings to Navajo musicians who have written their own songs.
These legendary performers include Apache Spirit, Borderline, Fenders 2, Full Country,
Majestic, Razor Saltboy, D Johnson, Tim Holliday and Bryon Ramone.
Entrance fee for the Sunday lineup of Navajo entertainers will be $20 at the door.
Admission to enter the fairgrounds will be $5 per person and free parking on this day.
This is a rare opportunity to see so many talented Navajo musicians taking the stage
performing at the same venue all on the same day.
